To both of you: thank you so very much for your useful suggestions!
You wanted to know to what end I am using my application: this is for an automotive shock absorber
stress test with a rotating encoder, weight module and frequency driven electric motor ( 15 HP).
The interface programme to the PC is written in Delphi (most of them are graphics).
I have another question:
How can I write and read to and from XRam?
